Coppice Blocks
Modular, regenerative furniture.
Practiced since prehistory, coppicing allows for a cyclical harvest of wood, without killing the tree from which it is extracted. Coppice Blocks are made from Alder, Ash, Birch, Hazel and Willow sandwiched between slender boards from spruce thinnings. The modular elements can be (re) configured for different spaces and their changing needs of storage and display.
